Stranger Things: Starcourt Mall
Netflix debuted a persistent Stranger Things experience on Roblox where fans of the show could explore a virtual recreation of Starcourt Mall, play mini-games with friends, and earn virtual items. I collaborated with our video producer to come up with the concept for the trailer.
Wonder Woman: The Themyscira Experience
In 2020, Warner Bros. Entertainment joined forces with Roblox to bring the iconic superhero Wonder Woman to the platform, offering fans an interactive experience that allowed them to explore the realm of Themyscira. I came up with the concept and script for the trailer in collaboration with our video team.
Agents of E.G.G.
In 2020, Roblox hosted an event where players could travel to different games to collect eggs. The theme revolved around spies, so I thought it’d be fun to collaborate with our video team on a mission briefing film, complete with voice-over narration and, of course, egg puns!
The 8th Annual Bloxy Awards
The 8th Annual Bloxy Awards were an evolution of the concept we introduced in the previous year, featuring a more narrative-driven, immersive experience. Not only did I write the script for this trailer, but some of the skits in the final production as well. Read more about it here.
The 7th Annual Bloxy Awards
The Bloxy Awards are an annual event where Roblox celebrates the creative and technical achievements of its community. Unlike in previous years, the 7th Annual Bloxy Awards was the first time the show was fully-animated and streamed live on the platform itself. To get people hyped for the new format, I wrote a silly script featuring the host, JParty, getting into some hijinks with our narrator.
Hallow’s Eve
I was incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to write a script for Academy Award-winning actor Eddie Redmayne, promoting both his upcoming film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and the much-anticipated Hallow’s Eve community event on Roblox in 2018.
